What causes a sharp pain between the side of the nose and the eye?

This pain goes straight toward the back of my head, lasts a few seconds to a minute and disappears. The eye doesn’t focus correctly when I have the pain. I’ve been having it on and off for the past few days. I’ve also had a dull headache that won’t go away. (I get migraines. This is not a migraine.)
No congestion. Wouldn’t I be congested if I had a sinus problem?
No pierccings and don’t wear makeup. Thanks for trying though.

sounds like a sinus problem - perhaps a sinus infection.
