Do you need to have a diagnosis to go to a pain management center?

I have been having chronic severe pain and no doctor can figure it out. I’m still seeing new specialists and having tests done, but no diagnosis so far. Can I go to a pain management center? What do they do there?

What you need to do is to call a pain center and ask them if that is a requirement. There are many different procedures done at a pain clinic, depending on the patient.

Normally a patient is referred to a pain management center by their Physician to help solve a specific type of pain. I would start with your Physician and ask if he believed a Pain Management Center would be appropriate for you.
