try to find out the source of the pain….see if it can be corrected….see a chiropractor….try accupuncture

Don’t you just **** that round and round circle? Darvocet is the lowest level painkiller available. I suggest that you keep looking for a better doctor. What started the pain in your feet? Know this: the painkillers only handle the symptoms. You need to look for the underlying cause.
The very best of luck to you.

What diagnosis did the doctors give you? What is causing your bad feet?

Try really explaining to your Doctor what kind of pain it is and when you experience it the most. You also need to tell your doctor that the darvocet didn’t work. Hopefully the pain management doctor can help you out more. My uncle had really bad neuropathy in his feet and when he went to the pain management doctor it helped more than the other two!

See a podiatrist. Also, take in some of your shoes so the doctor can see from the soles, how you are walking. The area of a shoe sole which is more worn down can tell alot about foot problems.

Provided the pain isn’t from excess weight (sorry, it did have to be mentioned as a possibility - sometimes foot pain and bone pain comes from that) you should have your GP check for bone spurs.

Could be neuropathic, maybe treated with Gabapentin. What was the podiatrist’s opinion on the source of the pain though?

I’m always on my feet 9 hours per day, and at times I get very bad pain from standing. I bought a foot bath massager whereby i soak my feet in hot water and it helps a lot. Your foot problem might be something other then tired feet like I have.
