Probably like every other doctor, they will charge you a very large “new client” fee and spend a few minutes sizing you up to see if you are the sort of person who may want to sue them. So after doing nothing to help you, but certianly charging you a hefty fee, they will set up another appointment to look into your particular medical situation. It’s really a chance to meet someone and get paid dearly for it. It’s a good scam if you you can pull it off and doctors are very good at it.

well i go to pain management and they did give me meds on my first visit, it is very much like going to any other doc except they are willing to help you with the pain, They do ask some questions and have some rules that other docs might not have but that is because they have to answer to the DEA for the types of medication they give. Be very honest and do not try to scam them, they will discharge you from the practice if they think you are a user or a seller, Good luck I hope you will be out of pain soon
