You need antibiotics. Until you get to the doc to get the preseciption try aspirin or Tylenol.

I assume you’re taking the proper antibiotics. For pain take Tylenol or otc Aleve or Ibuprofen.

It depends on how bad the infection is. If the infection is all through the body the pain can be severe enough to need a narcotic. If it is just a surface pain on the skin then maybe some tylenol would help.

if the pain is very severe talk to your doctor about oxycodone and aceteminophen (percocet) just be careful you dont become dependent….also be aware that staph infection is very contageous
